As we celebrate one of America’s favorite days – Valentine’s Day – our focus is on ‘Love’.  We at Dove Investments celebrate with all of you love in many forms – in marriages, between siblings, with children and grandchildren, in friendships and so many more. 

We also recognize that one of the key aspects of ‘Going Deeper’ – our theme for 2024, is ‘Love.’  One of Jesus’s disciples asked Him this question – ‘What is the greatest commandment?’ Jesus answered him in this way – ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’ Matthew 22:37-40.

One way to ‘love’ God today is to recognize the generosity He has towards His children.  God provides for all our needs – spiritually, emotionally, and physically. He is generous in his grace, mercy, compassion, and provision. Thank Him for his generous love towards you.  Clearly, a second way to ‘love’ God is to ‘love’ your neighbor.  During this celebration of love let those around you know of your love, your appreciation, and your friendship.  Affirm a loved one for one way they are generous with you. Be generous to a new neighbor, a favorite business, or a charity in your community.  All these things express our ‘Going Deeper’ in love.  And remember, you cannot out ‘love’ or out ‘give’ our Heavenly Father.
