Memorial Day is a day of remembrance– honoring the men and women who have given their lives for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.  Remembrance is an ancient art.  Throughout the Bible, we learn that God has created a theology of remembrance for His people. As we seek to ‘Go Deeper in our faith’ in 2024, here’s our takeaway.  Are you ‘remembering’ the places God has worked in your life and sharing them with your kids, family, and friends?  Have you prepared your ‘Jesus Story’ – a 3-5 minute story you could share at any time about your journey with Christ?  Just as a family might share with their kids how one of their ancestors died in defense of our liberties you can share with your family and friends how you found new life and freedom in Christ.
