These are truly extraordinary times.  As a nation, and a planet, we have been invaded by a microbe that is causing fear and panic.  We have faced many challenges before and found our way through them.  Surely, we will find our way through this as well.

I just want you to know that we are open, operating and here to serve you.  We have a business continuation plan to stay operational and have no problems serving you.

While these are uncharted territories, when it comes to the financial implications and the extreme measures being taken by our government, I have been working to do my best for you, your family and the money you entrust to us.  Over the last month, I have placed more trades and taken more action (which is clearly warranted) than ever before over any period.  While it’s easy to look back and say, “I wish I had done that…” everything is changing so fast and severely that there is new information every day and every hour.  I am watching everything I can, listening to you, our most valued relationships, and acting with my heartfelt best intentions.  As some have heard me say, there is no course study called “Econ 451- Managing in a Portfolio in a Viral Pandemic,” so I am calling on my 35 years of experience, and my knowledge of you and ultimately my faith in God to help make the best decisions I can.

I will have much more to say about this next week.  I just wanted to get a quick note to you that says we are here.  Saundra and Cynthia are healthy; we are all working separately to ensure our continued health, and we are available to help you in any way you may need.  LPL moved to a “remote working environment” for much of its staff over the last few years and they appear to be operating well and normally.  Please feel free to call on us – we want to help.  We love serving you and know these are scary times.  We will get through this.

It’s a good time to pray, read and fellowship with family.  That’s what we are doing.
